WoolA primitive breed from the St Kilda archipelago that resembles the wild ancestors of domestic sheep. Small, agile, and self-sufficient; fleece is shed or plucked (rooed) rather than shorn. British Soay are listed as Threatened by The Livestock Conservancy.
